A few days ago there was no Elon Musk mic drop GIF in existence. I needed to change that right away. Have you seen the shit people have been serving him up on Twitter lately? Take this GIF and go forth into the battlefields of Twitter and triumph. When Elon owns someone - happens often - throw this color down. It covers up the shade REAL NICE.
Bizzy likes a dash or two of tequila at night out in the desert alone dancing under the dark sky dome.
Bismuthena = bismuth + Athena
Bismuth is one of the least electromagnetically charged of all the minerals on Earth. It's got a low melting point, too, which means she can transform pretty easily on the kitchen stove or in a campfire.
She was an accident. Origin story is secret. She can manipulate anything from her severed arm which is where she bleeds bismuth and forms it into whatevs. She can also reorganize the basic building blocks of bismuth so that it appears to be other things. She holds secret communications with telepathic alien beings and remains protected from being ciphened by any mind hacker through her bismuthenic shield. Cannot be wooed. May or may not be involved in an underground revolution. Bizzy is always a lil busy.
Went a liTTLE nuts trying to draw bismuth on her hat AND shading her skin with the squarism inking technique. She's a liL Bizzy.
Slow, but progress. This was the first page I completed (pg1 of a 10pg story), and now I’ve rewritten the first page. The rest of the story still fits though. And it fits better. Writing is strange. It's an illogical puzzle, until it isn't.
In life drawing, there are really only a few options for drawing the human form as it is, live.
1. A life drawing / figure drawing class
2. A large mirror
3. A public place (cafe, park, museum, transit, etc.)
4. Your family or friends, if they can stand it
So sometimes you have to cheat. You have to snap pictures where you can. I recently took like a million reference images of my face and hands, with many different expressions, since we largely communicate complex emotions through facial expressions and hand gestures combined. Here below, I've taken two hours to practice drawing my own hand and face.
Here I am, world. I'm doing a thing. I'm making comics in my free time. Posts on here, prior to this one, have been populated over from my Tumblr account which I used a little before putting this website together. You can find more of my madness on Tumblr, Twitter, Instagram and Facebook.
I've still got to add my long list of links to artists and writers in the comics world that inspire me, as well as some friends I've made along the way by showing up to Comic Cons. Thanks to everyone that's been supporting me in my quest to self study this cool genre of storytelling.
